Beverly Jane Mcconnell

Beverly J. McConnell, age 70, passed away Sunday, May 9th at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Beverly was born in Council Bluffs to the late Thomas and Dorothy McConnell. She grew up on a farm in Logan, Iowa and in Morehead, Iowa. She graduated from East Monona High School in 1968. After graduating she moved to Omaha to work at Mutual of Omaha. She then began her career working for Northwestern Bell where she retired from. Beverly was united in marriage to James Rooney. They moved to Diluth, Georgia, where Beverly still worked for the A.T.T. phone company. Beverly was very active in the American Legion Post. She loved her Husker football and her fur baby Bentley. She was a loving sister and aunt.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband James, and sister Nany J. McConnell. Survived by her brothers Thomas (Gabrielle) McConnell, and Robert (Twyla) McConnell; sisters Judy (Chuck) Sivard, Vicki (Allen) Corum, and Sandy (Tom) Holland; and many nieces and nephews.
