Brian Cameron Perry, age 62, passed away at his home on April 26, 2021. He was born on October 18, 1958 in Pocatella, Idaho to the late Dean and Pauline Perry.
After graduation from Lewis Central High School in 1977, he went on to Northeast Missouri State in Kirksville, Missouri. Brian was proud of his over 30 plus years of combined service with the Lewis Township and Carson Volunteer Fire Departments. He served on the Scuba Team, as a Fire Fighter and as an EMT. Brian worked 20 years on the Pottawattamie County Division of Communications 911 Dispatch.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald C. and Nancy Swanson; brother-in-law, Floyd Swanson.
Brian will be missed by his wife and best friend, Susan Perry. They celebrated their 33rd Anniversary on April 23, 2021; daughter, Melissa Perry; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sarah Perry; son and daughter-in-law, Caleb Perry and Tammy Jessen; sister, Brenda Perry; brother-in-law, Donald Stephen Swanson, brother-in-law, Ted (Jean) Swanson; sister-in-law, Judy Swanson; brother-in-law, Robert (Karin) Swanson; granddaughters, Darby Perry and Corgan Perry; sixteen nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews; special family through unofficial adoption, grandsons Hayden and Hunter Ayers and their parents, James Ayers and Rachelle Leggio; and many other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a future date.
