Cathie J Mcdowell

Cathie J. McDowell, age 61, passed away in Council Bluffs on October 10, 2018.

She was born on the US Air Force base in Germany on March 18, 1957 to the late Archie and Thelma (DeVol) Hove. She graduated from Lewis Central High School.

Cathie is survived by her daughter, Sonya Betchel; sons, Duaine (Carrie), Justin, Joseph, and Patrick McDowell; 15 grandchildren; sister, Tracie (Tim) Andrews; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
