Charles "Chuck" Wyant

Charles Wyant, age 69, passed away May 25, 2021.

He was born May 31, 1951 to Charles and Janice (Cleaver) Wyant in Red Oak, IA. Chuck graduated from Malvern High School with the class of 1969 and retired from Glenwood Community Schools.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Don Wyant, Kathy LaCombe, Letha Weil and Edna Wyant.

Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Caroleen Wyant; children, Martha (Eric) Maynes, Michael (Joan Ratay) Wyant and Matthew (Misty) Wyant; sisters, Eldona Lee and Susie (Phil) Castle; grandsons, Josh Ratay, Justin Ratay, Jordan Ratay, Zachary (Vianely) Maynes, Caleb (Kelsie) Maynes, Gabriel Maynes, Robert (Ashley) Finch, Dakota Finch, Brandon Wyant; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, May 30, 2021. There will be a prayer service with special remarks at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Micah House or New Visions Homeless Shelter.
