Correne (Danker) Anderson

Correne (Danker) Anderson, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on April 2, 2021. She was born June 6, 1930 in Council Bluffs, IA to Henry and Lena (Hagedorn) of Minden,IA. She graduated in 1948 from Minden High School. She moved to Council Bluffs and started working at Mutual of Omaha, she worked there for 11 years, Ranks in Council Bluffs for 4 years and Orthopedic Associates of Omaha for 23 years. After retiring, she worked part time at Bluffs Run Casino in the gift shop for 6 1/2 years. Correne made numerous trips to Florida to visit her daughters and Biscuit.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kerry; sister, Faunetta Leaders; and brother, Hank Jr.
Correne is survived by her daughters, Michele and Kimberly Anderson, both of Florida.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, April 10, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Micah House.
