Deanna "Dee" Wentzel

Deanna "Dee" Wentzel, age 76, passed away at her home on October 10, 2022 with her husband, John and granddaughter, Madison by her side. She was born January 31, 1946 to the late John and Phyllis (Arp) Gehrels in Pipestone, MN. She graduated from Pipestone Public High school with the class of 1964. She married John in 1966, the couple had two children. Dee worked for many years at JC Penney's and finished her career working for Municipal Housing and Section 8. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and was a mom to all. Dee and John also enjoyed spending time together hunting and fishing. She was a dog lover and enjoyed helping show dogs competitively.

Deanna is survived by her husband, John Wentzel; children, Dawn (David) Nolan and Jason (Katie)Wentzel; grandchildren, Dallas, Autumn, Madison, Sean, Ethan, Jackson; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be on October 23, 2022 at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home from 2:00 - 4:00 PM with special remarks at 3:00 PM. Internment to be held at a later date in Pipestone, MN.
