Denise Shelly Rodenburg

Denise Shelly Rodenburg, age 50, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away January 21, 2015. She was born April 12, 1964 to the late Lyle A. Rodenburg and Ruth Marie Fitch. She was a 1982 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and a member of First Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, John Rodenburg. Denise is survived by her children, Adam Zavitz (Jenny Wilson), Sara Zavitz and Brianna Zavitz; brothers: Charles Rodenburg and wife Bethany, Eric Rodenburg and wife Deanna, Aaron Rodenburg and wife Kathy. Josh Rodenburg and wife Erica; half-sister, Leah Tomasso; step-sister, Kari Sliva and husband Randy; step-mother, Phyllis Rodenburg, 7 grandchildren and many other family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
