Donald D. Anderson

Donald D. Anderson, age 82 of Council Bluffs passed away October 30, 2013. He was born in Alta, Iowa on January 26, 1931 to the late Earl and Pearl (Polkinghorn) Anderson. Donald served his country in the United States Air Force and then retired from the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Anderson and brother, Bill Anderson. Donald is survived by his children, Dean Anderson (Karen), Jeffrey Anderson (Cathy), Craig Anderson, Donan Anderson, Scott Anderson (Chris); sisters, Margaret Chase (Tom) and Joan Sherkenbach; brother, Ronald Anderson (Julie); 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet in the Garner Township Cemetery on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for a graveside service. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
