Douglas "Doug" Feller

Douglas "Doug" Feller, age 71, passed away at Jennie Edmundson Hospital surrounded by his loving family on January 29, 2022. He was born August 1, 1950 to Wilbur and Gladys (McKern) Feller in Council Bluffs, IA. Doug was a farmer, worked for the railroad and retired from Mid American Energy. He enjoyed barrel racing in his younger years, rendezvous, bird watching and spending time with his family. He loved his dog Angel and cats Tiger, and Daisy.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley, Don and David.


Douglas is survived by wife of 51 years, Carol Feller; daughters, Becky (JR Reynolds) Feller and Jeanette Fisk-Feller; siblings, Sharon McMillen and Darrel Feller; grandchildren, Haley, Kiley, Mary, Braelyn, Jonathan and Ashton; a great grandchild on the way; a host of family and friends.


Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, February 04, 2022 with Funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be held at Garner Township Cemetery.

A luncheon will follow at Elks Lodge, 380 Makenzie Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51503


The family will direct memorials.
