F. Glenn Hightower

F. Glenn Hightower, age 84, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away December 21, 2011, at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. He was born January 29, 1927 in Hannibal, Missouri, to the late Louis and Hattie (Murray) Hightower. Glenn is retired from the Norfolk and Southern Rail Road. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Louis Jr. and Austin Hightower. Glenn is survived by his wife, Donna (Hirner) Hightower; daughters, Joyce Mahan (Donald), Jennifer Runyon (Paul), Jerri Hightower, Jana Ostdiek (Daniel); his sons, Glenn Hightower (Charlotte) and Donnald Hightower; and 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorial service is Wednesday, 2 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends for visitation during the hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
