Frank Elmer Lambertson

Frank E. Lambertson, age 79 of Council Bluffs passed away October 4, 2011. He was born May 27, 1932 in Council Bluffs to the late Frank K. & Mary (Hancock) Lambertson. Frank graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then Iowa State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Frank was a fireman for the Union Pacific Railroad and then retired as an electrical engineer from Western Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Nelson and a brother, Robert Lambertson. Frank is survived by his companion and special friend, Norma Jean Heath; sons John Lambertson & wife, Kris, and Robert Lambertson and a granddaughter, Janet; ex-wife, Virginia Lambertson; Norma Jean?s family Paul & Joan Heath; Larry & Lori Heath; Lucy & Karl Kanne; Judy & Sid Dillon; many other family and friends. Graveside services Saturday 10AM in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs
