Harriett Janna Saar

Harriett J. (Plum) Saar, age 74 of Council Bluffs passed away March 12, 2012 at her home. She was born September 16, 1937 to the late Ben & Ethel (Kirby) Auen. Harriett worked at Clarkson Hospital for many years as an OB/GYN Tech. She also worked at Bluffs Run/Horseshoe Casino as well as Sam?s Club In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Plum; husband, Ron Saar. Harriett is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ben & Tracy Plum; daughter, Sherry Collins; grandsons, Robert Plum (Amanda) and Ross Plum (Tina Hauger); granddaughter, Hope Walling; great granddaughters, Ellie and Grascie Plum. Funeral service is Friday 6PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Hoy Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
