Jack Thomas

Jack Thomas, age 91, passed away November 25, 2014 at Regency Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Council Bluffs on November 11, 1923 to the late John & Phoebe Thomas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and then retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. In addition to this parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bea Thomas; son, James M. Thomas; daughter, Kathy C. Colwell. Jack is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roger Hite; brother, Delbert Thomas; grandchildren, Dawn Phillips, Brandy Tawzer and husband Trede, Roger Hite II and wife Heidi, Mike Loontjer, Melissa Loontjer, Ronald (Homer) Loontjer, Tyresa Colwell, Miresa Colwelland 11 great grandchildren. Visitation is Friday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday 2PM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Hazel Dell Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Hospice
