James E. Talbert

James “Jim” E. Talbert, age 94, passed away March 15, 2018. He was born May 26, 1923, in Edinburgh, Indiana to the late Roscoe and Harriett Talbert.

Jim served in the US Navy, during WWII and Korea, until his honorable discharge in 1953.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Jean C. Talbert; children, Cynthia Talbert, Timothy (Janet) Talbert, Thomas (Deb) Talbert, Tammy (RC) Hartley, and Teresa (Tom) Tidwell; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation Tues., 5-7pm, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service Wed., 10am, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice with Heart in Jim’s honor.
