James Lester Wright

James L. Wright, 60 years, of Council Bluffs, died December 21, 2016 in Council Bluffs. He was born in Council Bluffs and has lived his lifetime here. He was a welder for the Union Pacific Railroad.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond "Pete" Wright.

He is survived by his mother, Leta Wright; his sons, Jesse and David Wright; his daughter, Nicole Butler; 3 grandchildren, Aydan Shupe, Newton Butler and Rye Butler; brothers, Brad and Scott Wright and his sister, Kelly Edic and her husband, Cory.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 - 10:00 a.m. at the Broadway United Methodist Church.
