Joanne Marie Behm

JoAnne M. Behm, age 88, passed away January 18, 2022.
She was born near Bentley, Iowa, on April 5, 1933, to the late Henry and Hazel (Timm) Boege. JoAnne graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and retired from the Cogley Clinic. She was a member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Behm Sr.; siblings, Frances Goodman, Erma Jones, Martha Twaddle, and Henry Boege Jr.
JoAnne is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Patsy Behm, William and Martha Behm Jr.; brother, Merle Boege; sister, Anne Mayberry; grandchildren and their spouses, Patrick and Sarah Behm, Nicholas and Lindsay Behm, Ashley and Keith Hoff, Daniel and Kristine Behm; 11 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Open viewing and visitation without the family present will be at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday January 23, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services are private. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Saint Ann Altar and Rosary Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
