John L. Thomas

John L. Thomas, age 65, of Council Bluffs passed away November 6, 2017.

He was born in Carroll, Iowa on February 19, 1952 to Lloyd and Katheryn (Boulware) Thomas. John graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Iowa Western. He was currently working at Ameristar.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant son, Matthew.

John is survived by his wife, Bobbie Thomas; children, Jodi Gillette (Steve), Ashley Sevey (AJ), Josh Thomas; mother, Katheryn Thomas; siblings, Joe Thomas (Terri), Jane Phillips (Chris); grandchildren, Lacy and Matthew; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service is 2:00p.m. on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service.
The family will direct memorials.
