Justin Bradley Hinkle

Justin Bradley Hinkle, 48, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska after a lengthy illness.

Justin was born on September 19, 1973, in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Phillip and the late Suzan (Long) Hinkle. He graduated from Auburn University with a BA in History. He enjoyed a long career with Goetze Dental.

Justin married Melissa Barton on January 31, 2009. Together they had two children, a son Connor and daughter Marin.

Justin loved sports, especially Auburn football. Fishing, bowling and shooting became some of his favorite pastimes. He was devoted to his family and especially loved taking Connor bowling and Marin swimming.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Suzan.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Melissa, son Connor, and daughter Marin; father Phillip and wife Carol Hinkle; in-laws Earl and Mary Barton, brother Merritt and wife Hope Hinkle; brother-in-law Matthew and wife Bre Barton; nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins and close friends.

The Hinkle family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, and the staff at UNMC in Omaha for all of their compassionate care.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00A.M. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed toward his children's education.

Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
