Luke J. Rodriquez Sr.

Luke J. Rodriquez Sr. age 72 of Council Bluffs passed away October 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Luke was born October 18, 1939 in Council Bluffs to the late Casimiro and Juanita (DeSantiago) Rodriquez. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a car man until retirement. He was united in marriage to Wanda (Hathaway) Rodriquez August 1, 1959. Luke is preceded in death by his parents, brother Benito Rodriquez and sister Vivian Bryant. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Luke (Pepe) Rodriquez Jr. and wife Debra, daughter Jenny Rodriquez, son Benito Rodriquez and Michelle Whitney, son Michael Rodriquez, brother Carmen Rodriquez, sisters Gonia Jarecki, Josie Coppock, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held 6:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18 at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home and Crematory . Family will direct memorials.
