Marcia Hiatt

Marcia Hiatt, age 82, passed away March 28, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Home.

She was born in Council Bluffs on November 9, 1934 to the late Ross and Dorothy (Clark) Roden. Marcia graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and attended the University of Iowa. She was active in the Council Bluffs Service League and was a past president of the Walnut Grove PTA. Marcia was an avid reader. She retired in 1996 from US West after 25 years.

Marcia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Lynn Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Liz Hiatt; grandchildren, Steffany Bright (Dewayne), Sabrina Hughes (Brian), Crystal Aldmeyer (Thomas), Jennifer Meyer (Jon), Joseph McElroy; 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial service is 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Inurnment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
