Marianne Leibel

Marianne Leibel, age 81 of Council Bluffs passed away November 18, 2012 at her home. She was born in Alliance, Nebraska on November 8, 1931 to the late Clinton & Mary (Freimuth) Brennan. After completing high school she attended nurses training at St. Joseph Hospital in Alliance. She was an avid china painter and was a longtime volunteer at the Council Bluffs Public Library. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lynn Leibel. Marianne is survived by her children, Theresa Curtin of St. Paul, MN, Dr. Robert Leibel, M.D. (Ged) of Superior, NE, Tim Leibel (Toni) of Omaha, NE, Laura Urbanek (Mike) of Roland, IA, Mary Lynne Leibel of Osage Beach, MO; 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Adin and Aric Leibel, Katherine, Elizabeth and Caroline Leibel, Alex, Tess and Maddie Urbanek; sister, Carolyn Gerdes (Rod) of North Platte, NE. Memorial Mass will be Saturday 10AM at St. Peter?s Catholic Church. Memorials are suggested to the donor?s favorite charity.
