Michael Charles Mccarty

Mike McCarty was born on June 21, 1952 to Charles "Mac" and Norma McCarty in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mike spent much of his time fishing with his grandpa and later his youngest daughter Kristen. He loved riding his motorcycle and playing his guitar, you could always find him ready to sing gospel or oldies. He could frequently be found gathered with his many friends and band mates. In the Spring, you could find him at the College World Series with his oldest daughter Roseann and her husband Bob. During hockey season, he attended Lancer games with his son-in-law DuWayne or could be found watching football. Mike loved to go to Branson and went several times with his wife Eileen. He was an active member of his church starting from a young age and continuing through his life. He praised the Lord along with his wife who Pastors. Together they opened the Precious Blood Ministry serving the lost and broken in need of Jesus.

Mike McCarty departed this life on January 12, 2020 in Council Bluffs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma, his brother, Kenny, and his grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His daughters Roseann Blank and her husband Bob Blank as well as Kristen McCarty and her husband DuWayne Doner, his father Charles "Mac" McCarty and wife Bonnie McCarty, his step-father Fred Frankum, his wife Eileen McCarty and her oldest son Scott Turechek and his wife Nisha and her two daughters and younger son Nick Turechek, his grandchildren Jessica Horvath and her husband Cody, Anthony Turechek, Kai-Bryana, Morgan Turechek, and Kai-Leigh, along with his great grandchild Lily, his nieces Sara Beard along with her husband Kevin Beard and daughter Bria Beard, US Army Major Michelle Garcia along with her husband Gabriel Garcia, Melissa McCarty along with her partner Jody Uerling, nephew Michael McCarty and Keith McCarty with his children Ryan and Sara McCarty, along with many adored extended family and friends.
