She is survived by her children, Sarah, Jason, and Dustin Aherns; mother, Susan Buse; father, Michael Aherns; and siblings, Michael, Wendy, Harold, and Marty.

Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 1530 Avenue F, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
