Ramona A. Benson

Ramona Benson, age 100, was born August 26, 1917, to Esther and K. John Nelson in Rosalie, Nebraska and passed away November 4, 2017, in Council Bluffs Iowa. Ramona had an unending love for the Lord, her family, and her community.

She is survived by daughters Florence Rogers of Council Bluffs, IA and Carlene Petersen (Marc) of Omaha, NE; grandsons Scott Rogers of Council Bluffs, IA, Marshall Rogers of Blair, NE, and Matthew Petersen of Tucson, AZ; granddaughter Holly Petersen of Omaha, NE; and eleven great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs on Saturday, November 11 at 10:00a.m. Graveside service will follow later in the day at Craig, NE cemetery.
