Richard R. White

Richard R. White, age 56, of Council Bluffs passed away March 5, 2017 in Tampa, FL. He was born on November 8, 1960 in Oxnard, CA to the late Delbert and Rosalie White.

He served in the US Navy from 1988 to 1992 on the USS Tripoli during Desert Storm. He had received multiple master's degrees and became a professor for DeVry University, West Hills, CA campus. He went on to become a government employee with the US Navy in 2005, before he moved on to a position with the 55th Wing Contracting Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, NE. Two years ago, he was promoted into a position with USCENTCOM at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Donna White; his children, Lukas, Allysan, and Jakob White; four grandchildren; brother, Ronald White; other relatives and friends.

Memorial service, Friday, 2 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
