Robert D. Doty

Robert D. Doty, age 89 of Council Bluffs passed away September 29, 2012. He was born in Davenport, Iowa to the late Jesse & Cora (Kinsler) Doty. Robert proudly served his Country during World War II in the United States Army. He retired as a salesman for the HLSS Company. Robert was a devoted member of First Congregational Church. Robert was an avid golfer and bridge player. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; son, Dennis Doty; brothers, James Doty and Donald Doty Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle & Randy Birchard; sister and brother-in-law, Kay & John Turner. He especially treasured his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial service is Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church. Memorials are suggested to the First Congregational Church.
