He was born in Topeka, KS on October 6, 1946 to Melvin and Marjorie (Claire) Durgin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Marjorie Durgin.
Robert is survived by his wife, Debbie (Gonzagowski); children, Kimberly Simmons (Thomas), Eric Durgin (Carley), Kristopher Heig (Andrea), Brian Durgin; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Mary Dunn; brothers, David Durgin (Marilyn), Thomas Durgin (Dawn), Michael Durgin; a host of other family and friends.
Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Family will direct memorials.
