Ronald Bergeron

Ronald Bergeron, age 79, a longtime Omaha area business owner passed into Heaven peacefully at his home surrounded by all of his loving family on November 23rd, 2022. Ron was born on November 19, 1943 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to Thomas and Constance Bergeron. After serving in the Navy and Army where he was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, Ron moved to Omaha and founded A1 United Heating and Air. He continued to be a successful business owner for many decades. He founded several car lots, a computer specialty business, 1512 Club, The Stage Door Lounge, The Bittersweet Lounge and The Playhouse Performing Arts Theater.

Ron loved spending time with and entertaining friends and family, traveling, boating and horse racing. Most of all, he loved to make people laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynda, and their children, Justin (Ellie), Candace (Mark), Kama (Travis), and Michael (Kaleigh); grandchildren, Christina and Vince Berlett, Kylie Combs and Brixton Nickerson; brothers, Dennis (Tammy), Bob (Monique); sisters, Gail (Jack), Marsha (son Ronni); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barb and Jim; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Celebration of Life Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 with special remarks and military honors at 3:45pm at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, IA. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
