Special words written by family:
Ronnie began his ministry at the young age of 12. Too young to drive, his parents, Bishop Doctor Ronald and Reba Riddle would drive him to youth speaking engagements.
Ronnie received his ministers licensed in the Church of God at the age of 16, married his childhood sweetheart at the age of 18, pastored his first church at 19, became Ordained in the Church of God at 20, finally receiving his Ordain Bishop credentials in the Church of God at 36.
In 1965, his Father chartered the South Omaha Church of God and served as Senior Pastor for 27 years before Ronnie assumed the pastorate in 1992. After 26 years, faithfully and selflessly serving as Senior Pastor, Ronnie passed the mantle onto his son, Pastor Brad and Ashley Riddle. This marks three generations of Riddle's since the church's inception.
“Someday you will read or hear that Ronnie Riddle is dead. Don't believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.”
Ronnie retired on April 13, 2021 and received his eternal reward May 2, 2021 at 5:55pm in his home surrounded by family and friends.
Flowers may be delivered to Heritage Church.
