Scott Wohlers, age 62, passed away at Missouri Valley Hospital August 11, 2022.
He was born April 24, 1960, to Malvern Wohlers and Betty (Schroder) Danker in Council Bluffs, IA. Scott graduated from Tri-Center High School with the class of 1978 and was a skilled craftsman.
Growing up Scott had a love of riding motorcycles. He caused a lot of trouble with the Beebeetown PP(if you know you know). In his younger days, Scott loved attending his daughters' sporting events rocking his jeans shorts, tall white socks, and white New Balance shoes. As the years went on, he enjoyed long strolls in Menards wearing his white Sketchers; going to the casino; eating lunch at the Loose Moose every day; hanging out in his white tighties, while smoking endless cigarettes. Every year he looked forward to the 4th of July because he had a love of fireworks. He had a witty sense of humor; loved to tell jokes, most of which were inappropriate; he looked forward to his fishing trips with the guys, and most of all, he loved his girls and family.
He was preceded in death by father, Malvern Wohlers; brother, Mark Wohlers.
Scott is survived by his mother, Betty Danker; daughters, Chris (Tom) Joens and Anne Wohlers (Kevin Taylor); sister, Rita Martens; grandchildren, Logan Joens and Grady Joens; nieces, Payton Pederson, Abigail and Eliza Martens.
Dad, we hope you are enjoying your time with grandpa telling jokes, smoking cigarettes, and lighting fireworks. We hope you finally learn Spanish, and don't forget to use your inhaler!
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
