Sharon L. Vinson, age 74, passed away September 5, 2014 at the Rose Vista Home in Woodbine. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 13, 1939 to the late Michael & Edna (Miller) Cardella. Sharon retired from Tier One Bank as a consumer loan officer. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and was on the Council Bluffs Police Advisory Board. She was an avid Husker fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald E. Brayman; 2 sisters, Marian Worth and Anne Lehn. Sharon is survived by her husband, John Vinson; children, Donald E. Brayman Jr., Judy Carey, Dan & Kathy Brayman, Melissa Mosher; sister, Rose Mickey Carter (Don); brothers, Blaze Cardella and Michael Cardella (Kay); grandchildren, Justin Boehm, Caleb Brayman, Courtney Carey & Will Cool, Megan & Jordan Wyman, Mikayla Carey, Blaze Brayman, John Mosher, Masha Brayman, Allison Mosher and Christopher Mosher; great grandchildren, Devyn Boehm and Holden Wyman; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Sharons family sincerely thanks the entire staff of both the Rose Vista Home and Generations Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
