Stella "Sally" Wiskus

Stella ?Sally? Wiskus, age 84 of Council Bluffs passed away April 17, 2012. She was born February 26, 1928 to the late Karl & Anna (Petersen) Thomsen. She worked for many years at the Christian Home (Children?s Square) and then Bergan Mercy?s child care center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlon Wiskus who passed away June 12, 1960. Sally is survived by her three sons, Ben Wiskus and his wife, Nancee, John Wiskus and Jim Wiskus and his wife, Christine; grandchildren, Scott, Trevor (Leah), Callie, Brit, Jenna, Michael, Kaylee, Steven, Eric, and Andy; great grandchildren, Landon and Elijah; nieces and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Friday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service is Saturday 10AM at the funeral home. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment will take place later that day in the Blair, Nebraska Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
