"Our father is leaving us with so many memories that we will cherish forever and a love only a father could give. Growing up we watched him work with horses, and he taught us all how to ride. We would sometimes go for a ride in the tractor bucket, up in the air, with dad or grandpa behind the wheel. In the winter, we often went sledding. There are memories of a lifetime, too many to mention. We want everyone to know how much his loved ones will be missing him.
Dad was the baby of his siblings. He had two older sisters who spoiled him rotten and watched after him for his eternity; and an older brother, whom he admired. They had such a strong bond that his mother and father inspired.
Dad, we are going to miss you, as you will know. The love in our hearts will continue to grow. May we make you proud in all we do, as we have learned so much from loving you. To the moon and back, daddy! We will see you again someday."
Celebration of his life is 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday October 6, 2019 at the Railway Bar and Grill – 115 South 12th Street in Council Bluffs.
