William "Bill" Martin Edwards

William Martin Edwards, age 75, passed away at CHI Health Mercy Hospital January 3, 2022. He was born October 10, 1946 to Richard W. and Olive Verdee (Kuntzweiler) Edwards in Britton, South Dakota. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1964. He attended Iowa Western Community College with an associate degree in Computer Programing. Later he attended Buena Vista University with a Bachelor degree in Business. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad in 2001. William enjoyed all cars, he loved hiking, Colorado, national parks and camping. His pride and joy were children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Brett J. Edwards.

William is survived by wife of 47 years, Earline Edwards; children, Erik (Annabel) Edwards, Ryan Edwards and Jena (Joel) Moseman; siblings, Blanche Pinson, Lois (Robert) Sapp, Leslie Edwards and Elva Hill; grandchildren, Samantha, Corey, Charlotte and Margaret; many family and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family will direct memorials.
