William “Bill” Stephens

William “Bill” Stephens, age 82, passed away November 4, 2018.

He was born in Macedonia, Iowa on June 27, 1936 to the late Guy and Mabel Stephens. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was involved in law enforcement for many years. He retired from Standard Oil.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Stephens; son, Michael Todd Stephens and 9 siblings.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Valerie Phelps, Gayla Drown (Mark), Darla Guinzy; siblings, Dwight Stephens (Judy), Cliff Stephens (Judy) and Jolene Stephens.

Funeral service is 5:00p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Graveside with Military Honors will be on Thursday in the Macedonia, Iowa Cemetery.
