Alan D. Lachappell

Alan D. LaChappell, age 54, of Council Bluffs passed away July 12, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 19, 1959 to Frank & Phyllis (Hoffman) LaChappell Jr. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1977 and was a tool & die maker. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank LaChappell Jr.; sister, Vicki Lee; brother-in-law, Donald Jackson. Alan is survived by his wife, Peggy LaChappell; sons, Richard LaChappell (Nikki), Jeffrey LaChappell (Natalie), Anthony LaChappell (Brittany Hoffman); mother, Phyllis LaChappell; sisters, Judy Jackson, Paulette Thomas (Jim), Debbie Olrich; brother-in-law, Byron Lee; 4 grandchildren. A reception in his honor will be Tuesday evening from 6-8PM in the community room at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
