Barbara Janice Bunch

Barbara J. Bunch, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home on May 14, 2026.

She was born August 12, 1938, to the late Roy and Joyce (McTwiggan) Stoker in Council Bluffs, IA. Barbara graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1955 and was a member of First Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Neta Neighbors; and brother, Dennis Stoker.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 71 years, Delmar Bunch; children, James Bunch (Donna), Elizabeth Bunch, and Roger Bunch (Eunice); brother, Roy "Toke" Stoker; grandchildren, Zachary Bunch (Taylor), Phillip Bunch (Amy), Jacob Bunch (Emily), Nathaniel Bunch (Megan), and Lydia Bartlett (Jordan) ; great-grandchildren, Addilynn, Rowdy, Ryker, Oaklynn, Lincoln, Vivian, Alice, Matilda, Aspen, Aubrey, Nolan, and Hazel.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, May 18, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, May 18, 2026. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.
