Barbara L. Hanson

Barbara L. Hanson, age 78, of Treynor, Iowa passed away November 7, 2013 at home. She was born in Council Bluffs on August 17, 1935 to the late Bertram & Florence (McVey) Clark. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hanson; Brother, Jerry Clark; granddaughter, Jamie Hanson. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Gayle Ridgway; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis & Jo Hanson and Brian & Robin Hanson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Sales, Phyllis & Earl Cushman and Sylvia & Glenn Snipes; brother and sisters-in-law, Howard & Mary Clark; grandchildren, Chad Hanson (Lori), Jennifer Ridgway, Carrie Scoles, Michael Ridgway; great grandchildren, Christopher Hanson, Connor Hanson and Ethan Scoles; companion, Robert Bob Morrison. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Walnut Hill Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
