Barbara "Barbie" Settles

Barbara "Barbie" Settles , age 64, passed away September 6, 2026. She was born May 7, 1962 to Delbert and Theresa "Peggy" (Votava) Settles in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Settles; sister, Cheryl Decker.

Barbie is survived by her father, Delbert Settles; significant other, Roy Colburn; siblings, Patricia Settles, David (Marcia) Settles, Donald (Edna) Settles and James (Dori) Settles; niece, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, September 11, 2026 with a vigil to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi - Our Lady of Carter Lake Church on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Final resting place at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
