Benjamin Lee Parton

Benjamin L. Parton, age 35, passed away on February 2, 2026. 

He was born March 18, 1990, to Lonnie and Carolyn (Moburg) Parton in Council Bluffs, IA. Ben graduated from Heartland Christian School with the class of 2008 and was raised in Victory Fellowship, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Ben was his happiest when he was surrounded by the mountains and his friends. His cowboy heart never met a stranger and he was truly happy when he was helping others. He had his dream job, a beautiful girlfriend, Katlin and was living out his best life. He was talented and excelled at everything he set his mind to, but unfortunately was never able to beat his sister at darts. 

Ben is survived by his parents, Lonnie & Carolyn Parton; loving partner, Katlin Hawes; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan & Rebekah Parton; sister and brother-in-law, Emily & Brandon Baker; nephews, Ireland Baker, Judah Baker, and Elisha Baker; nieces, Hadassah Baker and Charlotte Parton; aunts, uncles, and cousins; a host of other family and friends; and Ben is survived by the best group of life-long, loyal friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, February 07, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Burial service will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials in Ben's honor.
