Bernard McIntosh

Bernard L. McIntosh, age 94, passed away peacefully at Prairie Gate on June 1, 2026.

He was born January 17, 1932, to the late Ray and Bertha (Powell) McIntosh in Colome, SD. Bernard graduated from Missouri Valley High School with the class of 1949 and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha Lea; brother, Leo McIntosh; sister, Lois Morrison.

Bernard is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Sandy McIntosh and Ed & Pat McIntosh; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki & Lin White; grandchildren, Tami McIntosh, Chris McIntosh (Lisa), Dana McIntosh (Mark), Justin McIntosh (Kelly), Sarah Greene (Justin), and Jessica Wiggins (Jeremy); 14 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 05, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026. Interment with Military Honors will be later that afternoon at the Grange Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Future Farmers of America - Missouri Valley, Logan, or Tri-Center Chapter.
