Berniece M. Puls

Berniece Puls, age 81, passed away peacefully at Risen Son Christian Village November 3, 2021. She was born August 16, 1940 to Donovan and Dorothy (Lingle) Newland in Des Moines, Iowa. Berniece enjoyed reading, bowling, traveling, Nebraska football and attending church. Her pride and joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Larry D. Puls; brother, Bill Newland; sister-in-laws, Virginia Newland and Mary Ann Engel.


Berniece is survived by children, Evette (Tim) Schoening, Kerrie Powell and Cole Puls; siblings, Dianna Brown, Evelyn (Jack) Chapman and Mark Newland; grandchildren, Kortnie (Lupe), Shawntel, Michaella, Theo and Lucy; great grandchildren, Trevor, Caleb and Elijah; many family and friends.


Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, November 8, 2021.

The family will direct memorials.
