Betsy Shipley

Betsy I. Shipley, age 70, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 16, 2025.

She was born February 9, 1955 to Stanley and Ann (Hough) Gardner in Council Bluffs, IA. Betsy attended Underwood High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Gardner.

Betsy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy &Shella Wennignhoff; daughter and son-in-law, Jillian & Larry Stover; son, Alex Shipley; grandchildren, Makenzie Wenninghoff, Kohl Wennighoff, Corbin Stover, Joci Blair, Izzie Stover, and Grace Blair; great granddaughter, Holly Wenninghoff; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to CARES Foundation https://caresfoundation.org/
