Betty I. Young

Betty I. Young, age 82 of Council Bluffs passed away November 16, 2013 at the Nebraska Medical Center. She was born in Spaulding, Iowa on February 21, 1931. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Christensen. Betty is survived by her husband, Lloyd Young; daughter, Jeri Young; sons, Doug Young (Eileen), Ronald Young, Rick Young, Clark Young; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Graveside service will be Friday afternoon in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery at Spaulding, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
