Betty J. (Brewer) Epperson Peterson

Betty J. (Brewer) Epperson Peterson, age 91, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital April 19, 2021. She was born October 2, 1929 to Frederick and Darlene Brewer in Council Bluffs, IA. Betty graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1947. Betty worked for National Indemnity in Omaha. She was active with Insurance Women of Omaha and the International Insurance Women Betty enjoyed golf, puzzles, crossword and word search. Her pride and joy was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frederick "Jocko" Peterson; twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Brewer; sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Maxfield; nieces, Di Anna Sparks and Sandra Connor; nephews, Jay Brewer, David Brewer and Tim Burkybile; great nephew, Robert Burkybile.

Betty is survived by children, Terry (Lori) Epperson and Sharon Epperson; brother, Richard (Phyllis) Brewer; grandchildren, Rhonda (John) Sobeski, Jerry (Tiffany) Epperson and Nicholaus Epperson Sr.; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, Jackson, Taylor, Nicholaus Jr. and Morgan; great great-grandchildren, Keyton, Kassidi, Aidan and Aria; a host of family and friends.

No Services at this time. A celebration of Life will be announced later.
