Betty Jane Ballard

Betty Jane Ballard, age 79, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013. She was born May 31, 1933 in Shenandoah, Iowa to the late Clarence and Vena (Ragsdale) Roberts. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Ballard, granddaughter, Misty Pierce, grandson, Tony Wolfe, brothers, Dale Roberts and Willie Roberts and sister, Helen Green. Betty is survived by her daughter, Cindy Sparks and husband Ronald, sons, Charles Pierce, James Pierce, John Pierce, David Doremus and wife Shelly and Danny Ballard; sister, Edith Dargits and husband Larry. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. with Chaplain Linda Schlafer officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
