Bonnie Joellen Walk

Bonnie Joellen Walk, age 61, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away July 17, 2026. She was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on December 20, 1964, to Dennis and Ruth Ann (Byrd) Hockabout, Sr. Bonnie married Kevin Walk on September 14, 1991 in Glenwood, Iowa. Bonnie loved sunflowers, enjoyed baking and crafting and most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Ann Hockabout and brother, David.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughter, Amy Anderson (Aaron) and their children, Andy, Brianna, Cameron and Damon; daughter, Charlene Hight and her children, Nate, Gabe, Miah and Bella; son, Brandon Kirby and his children, Keith and Evan; 8-great-grandchildren; father, Dennis Hockabout, Sr.; sister, Theresa Beegle (Ralph); brothers, Dennis Hockabout, Jr.(Tracy) and AJ Buschelman and many other family and friends.

An open house Celebration of Bonnie's life will be Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at The Warehouse, 1414 W. Broadway, Council Bluffs, Iowa.
