Caroline Starr

Caroline Starr, age 80, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home August 25, 2025. She was born November 27, 1944 to Dean and Maxine (Bates) Putman in Oakland, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Dean Charles II; sister, Mary Ann; her son, Gerald Denny Starr III; and grandson, Brandon Montgomery.

Caroline is survived by her children, Patrick D Starr, Deana M Starr, Barabara J Starr (Jeffery Rolfe), Michelle L Montgomery, James (Tiffany) Starr; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; sister, Diane; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Community Room on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
