Carrol Childs

Carrol E. Childs, age 93, passed away peacefully at Northcrest Living Center on November 24, 2023.

He was born June 24, 1930, to the late Hall and Avis Childs on the family farm near McClelland, IA. Carrol graduated from Underwood High School and was a lifelong farmer. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching his grandsons race go-karts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Childs; son, Barry Childs; sisters, Lorraine Mann, Bernadine Grove, and Eloise Ryan.

Carrol is survived by his daughter-in-law, Cary Childs; grandsons, Brandon Childs, Jordan Childs, and Cameron Childs; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As per Carrol's wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
