Charles L. "Chico" Carlson

Charles L. ?Chico? Carlson, Jr., of Council Bluffs passed away January 19, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. He was born January 20, 1950 to the late Charles L. Sr. & LaVon ?Bonnie? (Bruce) Carlson. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Chico worked with his parents and eventually operated the Crescent Lounge. He had a love for music and was a member of the Outcasts Band. Chico spent many hours teaching his nieces and nephews to play the guitar. He is survived by his longtime companion, Tonette Muell; sister & brother-in-law, Vickie & Marti Christoffersen; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. A celebration of Chico?s life will be Monday evening 6PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends during the hour prior. A reception will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
